Operations Automation: Job Scheduling (IBM Job Scheduler, Robot/Scheduler); Backups (Robot/Save, BRMS(Backup & Recovery Management Systems, Cusomized CL Programs); Monitoring & House cleaning (Re-orgs, Spool files...) using Cusomized CL Programs
Security: Review, design and implement a security strategy; Object Level, Private Authorities, User Profiles, Group Profiles, Authorisation Lists; Review, implement, and maintain security-related system values
Software Installation and Maintenance: Manage system software (PTFs, Cummulatives, Hipers...); Manage upgrade process
Problem Management: Assist in problem determination - identify/take appropriate action(s); Identify potential security problems
Manage Backup and Recovery: Design a backup and recovery plan to meet the installation's system and application requirements; Implement an automatic backup procedure
Work Management: Review and manage workflow (JOBDs, Priorities, timeslices...); Monitor system performance and usage
